It's very rare you will see me in a mini skirt (too revealing and I hate knicker lines on show so I had to cover up with a kimono!) but I just couldn't resist this fabulous embellished twosie from Missguided's premium range, which I wore to the Company Blog Awards last night. After being shortlisted in two categories I was of course hoping I had a good chance of winning, but unfortunately not guys! Never mind. I am still so grateful to have even been shortlisted and, as the Company editor said, it is a huge achievement in itself to even be shortlisted for "best fashion blog", as it is such a broad category. I still had a lovely evening with my blogging girlies Shope & Shore (who won best blogging duo - so so proud, they really deserve it!) and we met the lovely Camilla for pizza beforehand too. I took her outfit photos using her amazing Canon 5D and I am now determined to save up for one - i'm in love! So beautiful, i'm such a gadget geek.

You know those days where all the parcels you've been expecting that week come on the same day? That happened to me yesterday, and it felt like Christmas! I had 5 parcels come and ended up wearing most of what was delivered, including a very exciting care package from the amazingly lovely people over at Karmaloop/Miss KL. I'll be filming a haul for that verrrry soon, be excited, but you can check out my Instagram for a sneaky peek. It kinda made up for not winning the award too, hahaha. Some people just know the way to my heart is through pretty shoes.
