FLUFFY THE LABEL - SS17 LAUNCH

Hello my honeys!

So the last month has not only been full of adventure, but I have also been working hard to finally officially launch my label FLUFFY, which I founded at university 3 years ago. After hand making each piece to order, and realising that this just isn't realistic if I want my brand to grow, i've finally started having my designs manufactured and brought my imagination to life.

The whole experience of designing, seeing samples, making changes so everything's perfect, building a brand and seeing people wearing my designs, is everything I ever dreamed of as a child. Most kids had a dream job very different from the career they end up doing, but I really am living my childhood dream of being a fashion designer!

I wanted to shared with you guys, my blog readers, the new collection (if you aren't up to date with me on Instagram). If it wasn't for my blog, I would have never got to where I am today where i'm in a position to invest into my business and make everything real. So I thank you guys for that :)

The SS17 collection is available to shop online now at www.shopfluffy.com

AIRMAX 95'S

Say hello to my new fave trainers! These Airmax 95's bring me all the ninety's feels.

This is Neal's Yard, one of the most colourful places in London, and it's one of my favourite! Every building has different colour painted windows - the building directly behind me is my DREAM home. It even has a roof terrace covered in greenery. Ah, a girl can wish!

I was recently interviewed by online sportswear store Foot Asylum for their Style Sessions series. I've sassed up their Ellesse vintage style pink sweater with my fave jeans and of course a splash of rainbow. You can read the full interview here.

LFW with SARAH BAILY

Hey honey's

I popped down to London Fashion Week just for the day this weekend to check out the exhibitions and debut our Confetti Crowd x Sarah Baily jackets which we collaborated on - they're so dreamy! Sarah captured our colourful vision perfectly. They will be available to buy really soon so I will update you all then. I just know i'm gonna live in this jacket!

I picked up this dreamy orange sequin dress on a trip to Iceland with Will - we found a fab pay per kilo vintage shop in Reykjavik. I didn't try it on but it fits like a glove, I love it when that happens! I'll be blogging about my trip in my next post incase any of you are interested.

THE RAINBOW ISLAND

I realised I had this post all typed up and never shared it... but it's just so beautiful I had to publish it now. So here we are, the cutest place I visited last summer!

BURANO, VENICE. I have seen this place all over Instagram for years and always dreamed of going there. I now want to retire there. It's one tiny island where EVERY single house is a different colour - CUTEST PLACE EVER?! Imagine my blogging backdrops if I lived here, there'd be a house to match every outfit!

It's a bit of a mission to get to - around an hour on the boat from Venice. We were in such a rush that day which left us with just under an hour to explore this beautiful place, which was a shame. I'd definitely love to go back one day and have a proper wander round, and maybe even stay there (armed with a suitcase full of rainbow clothes of course!).

We had a little wander, ate some pasta and stroked some cats, before having to rush off to get our train from Venice - Florence.

This lilac house and green plant combo is literally what dreams are made of. It's inspired me so much that I this is how I want my future house to look like - what a gorgeous colour combo! This has been my computer background for a year.

2017 goals

If I write it down, I have to do it. That's the rule.

Eat healthier.
Portion control. Drink tonnes more water. No sweets. Cut down on sugar. NO fizzy drinks.
I'm not looking to drastically lose weight but I just want to be a fitter, healthier me. Taking advantage of the fact that my boyfriend is a personal trainer and having him whip me into shape.

Save not spend.
I've not treated myself in a while and when it comes down to it, I have enough clothes to dress a whole school. So every time I want something i'm just gonna put that money into my savings and forget about it.

Re-launch blog & YouTube channel
I'm very aware that I let my blog flop last year and I feel really bad about it. I fell out of love with blogging after starting 5 years ago, but new content ideas and a different path should be just what I need to get right back into it. I'll also be back on the Tube of You and have tonnes of video ideas coming real soon!

Read more books
I bought about 20 books in 2016 and didn't finish one. And i've finally realised why - I feel like i'm wasting time by sitting down and reading. That's when I discovered audio books - DUH! I work from home so I can do my thang whilst being read a book. I finished a whole book in 1 day by reading whilst cleaning my room! All the books on my to-read list (or to actually finish list) are currently self-help books: The Power Of NowThe Art of HappinessLife Is a Gift & How to Win Friends and Influence People

Work on FLUFFY the label
It was always my dream to be a fashion designer when I was little, so this year i'm going to work as hard as I can on making a super sassy little independent label, because i'm really good at sewing, and I don't put it to good use! Lets make that £30,000 degree worthwhile, lol *dies inside*

Travel more & buy a campervan
These come as one as I can't decide which I want more. My life dream is to own a motorhome and travel Europe, the UK & go to festivals in it. But at the same time I want to jet off again this year and explore more of Asia. Hopefully i'll be able to do both if I work hard...

& finally, Confetti Crowd world takeover!
2016 was our year, but 2017 is looking even more exciting already. Our biggest goal is to work with tonnes more charities who support girls and women worldwide. Follow our journey on Instagram: @ConfettiCrowd & www.ConfettiCrowd.com.

my 2016 highlights

2016 was the best year of my life. I did more travelling than ever before, went to 10 festivals and holidayed with my love. I'm so excited for 2017 and what it will bring! Here's some of my highlights of the year...

I went travelling solo
The 7th March 2016 was one of the toughest days of my life; leaving my family, friends and boyfriend to fly 13 hours across the globe to begin my backpacking journey all on my own. I will never forget the feeling of saying goodbye to Will at the airport... let's just say I cried all the way to Bangkok. And then cried some more. Travelling was amazing, and i'm glad I did it solo, but it made me realise I never, ever want to travel on my own again. I returned early 6 weeks later because being away from home all got a bit too much. 2017 will be filled with lots more trips away, but this time with a friend/my boyf by my side!
the dreamiest turquoise water at Maya Bay, Thailand
I went to lots of festivals
I attended a total of 10 festivals last year - how on earth did I fit them all in?! I swear I was at a festival every single weekend over the summer. I discovered new ones like Lost Village and Outlook, and re-visited my all time faves, Secret Garden Party and Bestival.
Here's some of my highlights...
Lost Village with this gang was beautiful!
our home for the weekend at V Festival, Chelmsford. Just made me want a campervan even more
all day partying at Outlook festival in beautiful Croatia
double Confetti wedding at the Bestival inflatable church! Best day ever!

I spent 2 weeks in Italy with my best friend
Even though 2 weeks here cost more than 2 months in Asia, it was so worth it. Travelling around Italy with Will, from Venice to Pompeii, was one of the best trips i've ever done! Highlights of this trip: Vespa tour around the Florence countryside, rooftop drinks in every city, seeing the Colosseum IRL, and Herculaneum was incredible.

Burano, Venice - the rainbow island of dreams

We did our first mummy daughter holiday
I ticked off another city on my list, Barcelona! In 24 years we've never been on holiday just us, and Barcelona was the perfect place to go. Endless tapas restaurants, good wine & sightseeing.

Confetti Crowd turned 2
I'm so proud of us and all we have achieved in the last 2 years! Never did I think things would take off quite like they have. We've got so much planned for 2017 already. We want to show we are more than just girls who dress colourfully. Our main goal is to work with tonnes of charities supporting girls worldwide. Some of my 2016 highlights... working on campaigns with Topshop, Ribena, Estee Lauder, Dr Martens, Zandra Rhodes, Illamasqua and many more. Also being featured some magazines like Disorder & Debut!

I had a big birthday party
I had the best birthday to date! Will's birthday is 4 days before mine which means double birthday celebrations every year forever, yay! We had all our best friends at my house for a big colourful bash with volleyball, a bouncy castle, jacuzzi, and every cocktail you can imagine.

2017 goals to follow...
