SWEET POTATO FRIES

TOP: River Island
DRESS: Loving Youth*
BACKPACK: Baia Bags*
SHOES: Public Desire*
EARRINGS: Primark
SEPTUM RING: La Moda*

Making the most of my lovely garden finally, I don't know why I haven't shot amongst the green before - officially banning myself from taking blog pictures inside now. I wore this to Manchester on Thursday where I went for lunch with Missguided at the AH-MAZING Turtle Bay, the yummiest Caribbean restaurant i've ever been to! Not only was the food incredible, but the cocktails... UGH. The choice of cocktails was just incred and they were all fancy new ones i'd never tried before, none of your boring Cosmos and all that. Happy hour meant we obviously had to try most of the menu - I went for a Bahama mama, passion rum punch and my one true love, a strawberry daq. I'm such a cocktail lover, we even have a fully stocked cocktail cupboard at home. Me and mother love inventing new ones!

As you can see from the photos, the food was beaut. You can't go wrong with pulled pork and sweet potato fries, it's like my fave combination at the moment. I got a side of sweet potato mash too just because i'm obsessed. Mother can we grow sweet potatoes in the garden?

Aaaaanyway, I wore my fabulous new Burberry print dress by Loving Youth which I obviously accessorised with chunky chavvy gold earrings - love a bit of tack, haha. And of course, my AMAZING new backpack by Baia, which has quickly become my daily handbag - I never thought white would go with so much but its so easy to throw on and means I always have my hands free. Loveeeee.

A big thank you to Missguided for treating me, Shope, Hannah & Megan!

I love the dress layered up with the top underneath! Adds something more to the outfit! As it gets nearer to winter do you think you could do a blog on how best to layer clothes? I'm so rubbish at it and winter is fast approaching!

That dress is AMAZING, but also can we just have a moment for your hair? It's so perfect.
Really love the layering ideas, now that it's getting a little chillier. I've been trying to justify all summer purchases by telling myself that I can layer them and wear tights when the weather cools down...
