WHAT'S IN MY PLANE BAG?

I am DREADING my 11 and a half hour flight. I managed to find a cheap direct flight with British Airways but it means no stopover to break up the loooong journey to Bangkok. I can barely stand a 4 hour flight, let alone one this long - its the furthest i've ever flown. Now I have no fear of flying, the actual flying/height part doesn't phase me. I just HATE being uncomfortable - I can't even sit still in a cinema for a 2 hour film, my legs seize up and my back aches. But most of the time I have my boyfriend next to me to lean on, so I am dreading being confined to a tiny little seat for so long.

I recently decided to treat myself to an iPad (the Mini 3 64gb) which i've loaded up with films and TV shows to keep me entertained on flights and train journeys over the next few months. This along with my Urbanears headphones, a travel pillow and eye mask are my absolute flight essentials! I'll be going make-up free so no need to worry about what I look like once I arrive (i'll be a tired zombie mess but at least I can go straight to bed once I reach my hotel).

The bag i've decided to use is this beautiful pink holographic backpack by MiPac. I own two more which I use all the time - they're the perfect size for travelling, festivals, commuting etc. This will become my day backpack when i'm exploring cities, hiking and going to the beach. The two zip handles mean it's lockable with a padlock, so you can rest assure it won't be tampered with when you're exploring - this is a big must for me, as i'm such a safety freak.

FLIGHT ESSENTIALS

MiPac backpack
iPhone & charger
iPad Mini 3
Headphones - mine are the Urbanears Plattan in Camelia
Cameras - Canon G7X & GoPro Hero 4 (chargers will be in my hold bag)
Portable charger - this one is amazing and lasts ages! (did 4/5 days at festivals last year)
Plug adapter

Passport
Zipper pouch for documents
Travel money (i'm taking £200 worth for now)
Travel journal - this is a must!

Inflatable travel pillow - must have, and folds flat!
Eye mask
Ear plugs - block out crying babies & every plane related noise
Wet wipes
Tissues
Nasal spray - Trouble sleeping with a blocked nose? This is my life saver. Can't live without it.

Loving the backpack. Really want to buy a ipad mini myself, they seem perfect for travelling. I have the first ipad which is super heavy and doesn't work properly anymore.

couldn't agree with you more- the best way to combat a long flight is either with a good book, movie or film to watch. cute backpack btw!
