If you follow me on Instagram you'll probably have been swamped with pictures from this! Wednesday was the night of the highly anticipated Claire's Accessories Online Launch Party - to celebrate the launch of their online store (duh). It was a celeb filled event, something I have never experienced before, and it was AH-MAZING! Apart from being a super sweaty venue (not only full of bloggers and press, but also tons of 10 year old girls), we had an amazing night. We had acoustic performances from Conor Maynard and Delilah (who is literally one of my most favourite female artists eveeeer) and they were both flawless. We met Conor on the stairs when we were queueing and he was soo cute! I tweeted him a few days before to say how excited I was to see him (he retweeted and I got hundreds of little fangirls tweeting me and following me ugh LOL) and he remembered me and gave me a hug! I died. LOL.
Delilah was also lovely, and I was so in love with her shoes, and just her in general. She sounds exactly the same live as she does on record, such a beautiful voice. Once the performances were over, the 10 year olds disappeared and we could finally get our drink on, which is what bloggers do best! Dotted around the venue were pieces from Claire's new collections, and they are definitely expanding their market and creating more "grown up" pieces.
I have always been a fan of Claire's, especially when I was younger and went through the "punk" stage (or so I thought, thinking back now pink fishnet gloves, gummy bands and spiked headbanks were not so cool!) so it's great to add another shop on my list of fave places to buy jewellery.
So thanks Claire's and Push PR for a fabulous evening! It was definitely one to remember.
