eBay Bargain Finds #1

I've been wanting to do this for a while! Since I started my Tumblr a couple of years ago, I have been posting all the little bargains I come across whilst browsing on eBay. My followers love my "ebay finds" page so I thought I would start posting them on here too as a new feature. I like to think of myself as a bit of an eBay obsessed freak... so i'm sure you will love all the bargains I share with you! Most of the featured items will be designer inspired, like above. Clicking the numbers underneath will link you to the eBay listing :)

LOVE LUCY

Wardrobe makeover & how to wear spring pastels and florals

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I have switched up my wardrobe and swapped wintery dark colours and thick knits for summery pastels, florals and sheer shirts. My bedroom is tiny so I have clothes all over the place. In my hallway I have two wardrobes, one where I keep my "party/dressy clothes" and another, my "ugly" wardrobe, just for boring stuff/clothes I don't wear much or have worn too much. I have another rail in my room which I LOVE switching up every season to give my outfits a bit of variety. I hate wearing statement pieces more than once so by doing this I also force myself to pull out old clothes from my "ugly" wardrobe to be sure I actually wear them!

Here's my rail before... very dark with the occasional bit of colour...

It's me again

Another long wait for my next post... in a way it's good because i'm actually feeling a bit motivated to actually do my uni work, at last! Blogging has literally taken over my life so i'm tending to post less frequently now. I often look forward to my favourite bloggers doing a new post, so maybe it will leave you looking forward to when I do post, even if it is just once or twice a week. I could even do a roundup of my weeks outfits all in one post at the weekend?

Anyway, we're finally past the "basics" stage on my uni course, and are allowed to get a bit creative now, yay! One of our current projects involves designing and making an outfit which must include a skirt, and i've chosen to draw my inspiration from 90's fashion. Think of a young Gwen Stefani, and my old favourite tv show, Saved By The Bell, and you've got the look i'm going for! Florals, tie dye, bleached denim, wild prints and looooads of bright unmatching colours. Here's a few photos to give you an idea, don't you just LOVE the ugly prints?!
